BIO 3010 is a fluid intended to be used for tar removal and anti-adhesive treatments of surfaces when road coverings are being prepared and applied.
BIO 3010 is made from esters that are all of plant origin and is biodegradable, contains no volatile organic compounds, is non toxic and absolutely odourless.
BIO 3010 is a cleaning fluid specifically developed to replace hydrocarbons or methyl or ethyl vegetable oil esters. It is an immediate answer to production and maintenance managers´ requirements in terms of environment, safety and hygiene and also in terms of performance and compatibility with paintwork, plastic and elastomers.
BIO 3010 immediately satisfies the French order of May 29th 2000 related to VOC emissions. Equally, it does not require any special medical monitoring. The lack of solvents in the formula means it is not included in list no. 84 of occupational diseases.
BIO 3010 is rapidly and completely biodegraded. It protects the environment in the event of an accidental spill and riverside populations. It requires no authorisation or declaration of use to government authorities (French Decree 2002-680). It is easily biodegradable in the OECD 301 B test (monitoring CO² release during degradation). Completely biodegradable in the OECD 302 C test (manometric monitoring during degradation).
Non inflammable, BIO 3010 is and avoids any need to classify the area of use as ATEX (French Order of July 8th 2003).
BIO 3010 is classified as D.I.B. (Déchet Industriel Banal - normal industrial waste) in France. After use, it can be collected free of charge as part of an added-value programme
BIO 3010, does not contain any solvent and emits no vapour. It is virtually odourless. It is non-persistent and pleasant to use. Additionally, it is non-irritant and non-sensitising and has very little dehydrating effect on lipo-cutaneous tissue. This preparation does not contain any substance that is listed as being explosive, comburent, extremely flammable, easily inflammable, inflammable, carcinogenic, mutagenic, toxic, reprotoxic, harmful, irritant, sensitising, corrosive or dangerous for the environment (French Order of November 9th 2004). BIO 3010 does not cause any occupational disease.
